Mercedes Benz Sales Up 13 Percent

Sales of premium cars of Mercedes-Benz during the ninth month ago is once again being the best throughout 2010. In other words, in 11 consecutive month, Mercedes-Benz has managed to achieve an average monthly sale of two digits.
During the month of Sept. 2010 Mercedes-Benz achieve improvements in virtually all markets with total global sales of 118,600 units. This number increased 13 percent from the same period in previous year which only 104,900 units.

Joachim Mercedes-Benz adds a very optimistic welcome keemat quarter sales of 2010. "The positive developments in recent months made us very confident to increase sales in the fourth quarter. In this context, we want to grow the two largest markets, namely in Germany and the United States. We expect a very rapid sales growth in Asia particularly in China," Joachim said.

In Western Europe (including Germany), Mercedes-Benz sales increased by 7 percent in September to 33,500 units (September 2009: 31,400). This result is the achievement of sales in high-volume markets, such as the UK (up 12 percent) and France (nail 5 percent).
Mercedes-Benz even has sent 27,300 vehicles to customers in Germany during the last month (September 2009: 28,700, down 5 percent). While the S-Class sales growth during September 2010 by 14 percent to 6600 units compared to the same month in 2009. This figure is to fulfill the growth reached 29 percent during the first nine months of 2010 compared to the previous period. S-Class is also a leader in its class.

C-class, model Mercedes-Benz's smallest sedan, also recorded a good performance. During September 2010 this model was increased by 9 percent.
