26/10/2010 16:43Liputan6.com, Pfaffenhausen: Ruf Automobile and Porsche has launched its latest vintage combination model with limited production of "Ruf Roadster" is based on the reincarnation of the Porsche 911 Targa 1967. Roadster model has been replaced with Lightwight, removable roof panels with carbon fiber center section of the original, while the original rear window was replaced with soft-plastic three-tier polyglass unit.
This luxury roadster priced before tax of U.S. $ 272,700 (or equivalent to Rp. 2.4 billion). This model is equipped with 3.8-liter engine Porsche flat-6 that powered 394 hp and rear wheels have been using a six-speed manual gearbox. Ruf also said that this combination will produce the highest speed reached 183 mph or 294 km per hour and acceleration 0-60 mph in 4.6-seconds.
For options in the European market, customers can opt for 553-hp boxer engine turbo, dual-clutch gearbox and all-wheel drive. For delivery Roadster Ruf is scheduled to begin next year. (Insideline / Job)
